Natural Gas Safety Just 4 Kidz

· DON’T play on or with gas meters
· NEVER tie your dog – big or small-to a gas meter
STAY clear of the flame on natural gas appliances like stoves or fireplaces
· ASK your parents to install a carbon monoxide detector
· If you smell natural gas in your home (rotten egg smell) go outside and tell your parents or a neighbour.
· Digging in the yard can damage underground gas pipes. Remind your parents to call Ontario One Call to mark the location of natural gas pipelines BEFORE digging.
